MC Multi- Combination Driver: January 2007 - January 2009/January 2011 - Present DEFENCE LONG HAUL/ HEAVY TRANSPORT SERVICES Multi- Combination Driver • Responsible for day-to-day delivery of transport services, including coordinating driving tasks, transport planning, vehicle maintenance and scheduling, administration and customer service. • Worked in a high volume transport environment encompassing a large fleet of vehicles, ranging from Single Flat top trailers to Oversize Floats and Triple Road Trains • Defence force Dangerous goods qualified with experience in bulk fuel road train operations. • Transported Oversize and Overmass Loads on Floats, Including Armoured Vehicles, Plant equipment and Helicopters. • Operated vehicles in on-road and off-road environments, including extremes of weather and terrain, during daytime and night hours. • Established a reputation as a safe and reliable driver and was entrusted with transportation of Commonwealth explosives. • Performed preventative maintenance such as changing oil, greasing and replacing parts on a scheduled routine basis.
