Job Description

\*\*Job Title:\*\* Road Maintenance Workers
==============================

### About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for servicing roads throughout Northern and Western Victoria, carrying out maintenance and construction tasks, and responding to emergency incidents.

### Key Duties

\* Inspecting the road network and rectifying hazards and defects
\* Performing general labouring tasks
\* Compacting, leveling, and spreading materials to form roads
\* Routine road maintenance and obstruction removal
\* Operating trucks, power tools, and machinery
\* Participating in emergency response efforts, including after-hours call-outs and potential travel across Victoria

### Requirements

#### Essential:

\* White Card (Construction Induction)
\* Medium Rigid (MR) Truck Licence
\* Traffic Management Certificate
\* Ability to pass pre-employment checks, including a medical assessment, drug and alcohol screening, and police check
\* Basic proficiency in using tablets or mobile devices for reporting

#### Preferred:

\* Plant operator competency
\* Current First Aid Certificate
\* Previous experience in a similar role

### Standard Work Hours
